Burning Man
Tuesday, February 12th, 2008Hey Are You Going To Burning Man
Bury your toes in the desert sand
Ain’t no man for to tell you how to be
Come on down with me to down to Burn a man
I got a recipe for cosmic flan
Strip off your clothes and set your aura free
Right now at this very moment the little content farm known as the CRAPtv Forums is awaiting your presence. Check it out!
So far 2008 is all about Electric Apricot: Quest for Festeroo. We recently had a triumphant run up in Northern California at The Red Vic and Rafael Theaters. Meanwhile, we have been held over for midnight screenings in Burlington, Vermont! And I am very pleased to announce that our 35 City theatrical tour is continuing to Los Angeles, Seattle and Santa Cruz.
This Friday, our director, Les Claypool will be in the house at The Sunset 5 for a Q and A and after party where we will be drinking plenty of Lagunitas Beer supplied to us from our sponsors – Lagunitas Beer!!! Our recent Q and A’s have been fairly entertaining with Les laying down the war story about the creation of this little slice of cinema. So come check it out if you can! The soundtrack is dropping February 26th and the DVD comes to us on March 22nd – so the Apricot countdown is upon us! Stay informed here: ELECTRIC APRICOT
In other news – I have been shooting some fun segments with Boing Boing!
Boing Boing has been expanding my horizons about fire fashion, steam punks, tree house builders, strange inventors and much more! They also did a great tribute to our long lost friend Timmy The Woodsman last summer! I will continue to post new Boing Boing links in our forums whenever possible. And that’s not all you could win a free toaster from CRAPtv if you join now! Get involved now before Microsoft attempts a hostile takeover of ye olde CRAPtv.
And for those of you who are going to Burning Man – I am very much looking forward to this year’s American Dream Theme. In fact it’s right up my dirt road as I have been an American dreamer for quite sometime now. If Burning Man is not your thing – maybe you prefer to keep it Shpadoinkle? And if you prefer to keep it Shpadoinkle than you should really consider heading to Las Vegas in the month of March because Cannibal: The Musical will be making its Nevada debut every weekend at The Onyx Theater!
