Cartman searches for an elusive creature in the forests surrounding the town in an all-new episode of "South Park" titled, "Jewpacabra" premiering Wednesday, April 4 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.

South Park's big Easter egg hunt is in jeopardy when there are rumors of a dangerous beast lurking in the woods nearby. Cartman tries to warn everyone that their lives are at risk if they participate in the egg hunt. No one believes him until he produces video evidence of the mysterious being.

I am looking forward to it! smile.gif I just hope they focus on South Park and the forests around the town... no trips to different countries or huge conspiracies please.

They do at South Park Studios, of course, and maybe at my FB group for former chatters and other members of the bbs who want to post away from the bbs. Considering the negative feedback I've seen about the last three eps though (SP is letting segments go on too long, these past three episodes have been full of filler, etc.), I can understand the falling interest in the show.

I'm not always that impressed with the new shows but I sure as heck am still interested in it biggrin.gif

Am I a member of you FB group? How can I find it again?
Will
It's "South Park Studios Chatroom - This group will self-destruct in 1 hour. wink.gif" right now.

I change the second half of the group title often.

I honestly think they need more than a week to do an episode. I know Trey thinks if they had more time they'd only be a tiny bit better, but I'd like to see a season of South Park where they took two weeks for each episode. Since they've whipped the SP machine into such good shape production-wise, it seems like taking two weeks would be much less hectic and yield better creativity and funnier stories.

But it's still south park!

I LOVED this episode! ;p It felt a little, deja vu-ish, but I thought it was good. I'm also a Finding Bigfoot fan though so that part cracked me up (Bobo acting like a blubbering idiot).

It almost feels like these episodes were done a long time ago to save time and aren't really being worked on to "freshen them up" before airtime. I was thinking similar to what Brennan said except I was thinking it'd be nice if they took a few months to do the episodes. It's weird because their "one week before airtime" was always the kick butt part about the show but for fans to now be thinking they should take MORE time to do the shows, that should kinda be telling them somethin'. :/

But oh well. I still loved this episode!!!! ;p I'll give it 8/10

Really enjoyed it!! I thought it was fucking hysterical. Thumbs up.

Was waiting for a...

Nah! Nah! Nah! Nah! Nah! Nah! I made you think I was Jewish!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

Oh my god! That episode was great! A fantastic Easter special smile.gif I was totally expecting some kind of a joke in the end but since it didn't come, it made it pretty sweet. Cartman's trip totally reminded me of the movie Prince of Egypt (for obvious reasons, to those who've seen it). Great to get a proper Judaism episode at this point of the series! Totally loved it chodaboy.gif Best episode for AGES! 9/10.

I totally agree that the recent episodes have seemed a bit half-baked but this really didn't. I think they have probably been thinking about this one for a bit longer than just a week, given that it's a special.
Anamaria
Finally smile.gif . I loved this episode. Everything about it was great. I think this will become one of my all time favorite smile.gif

Is it just me, or did Cartman (Trey) seem to have a cold in the beginning? The voice sounded so .

Same here. And that's not easy.... Because this show has tons of all-time favorites. But, this one is right up there, with the rest of Cartman's 'Best of' episodes.

".....Daaaaaaaad?" biggrin.gif

Mine too! And I'M the negative nancy out of us biggrin.gif
Brennan
Weird y'all! I really didn't like much about it besides the splatting frogs and the commentary on how ridiculous certain religious beliefs are.
willowrose
I'm still standing by I LOVED it!! I watched it again today and still laughed.

Brennan, I've said this for years, and i'm pretty sure each time I said it you were the one disagreeing with me.
Zwerg-im-Bikini
Nice episode, I liked the story!
Do you know if the song is a parody of something?
tuhinal
It definitely seemed like a parody of something. Maybe Prince of Egypt? I really loved how it was like a kids after school easter special.

Really? Well I've only started thinking that the last two seasons or so. Season 13 was their best season as of late. The last two years have been kinda meh. They do need more time. If they spent two weeks on an episode, they'd be less stressed and probably funnier as a result.

Prince of Egypt! Yep! I've seen that mentioned in a few places.

Also, a Peanuts Halloween special where Lucy goes for Linus in the pumpkin patch, covers him with a blanket, and takes him home to his bed.
Zwerg-im-Bikini
Are you sure? Because I looked through some Prince of Egypt music videos on YouTube and they did not sound like this. It would fit because the movie is about the same topic. But the song sounds so familiar... and I cannot find it.

Edit: I found a hint at southparkstudios.com, parts of the tune sound like Willy Wonka.
rinygrin
Very funny! I first thought of Prince of Egypt too but it could also be from the Technicolor Dream Coat musical?
Will
Maybe. That story goes back to Joseph being a part of Egyptian royalty 430 years earlier though.
shpadoinkleman
Haha. This episode was funny. Hebrew jeebies.
Wickedjack
I liked this one. Especially Cartman's version of what happened in Egypt. And Kyle's treatment of him was sweet.
