1104 - The Snuke

Hillary Clinton is in town for a big campaign rally. Cartman follows a lead on a possible terrorist attack.

For some reason, I'm not too hyped up about this one. Just doesn't sound like it's going to be funny since they have done a few episodes on "Terrorist Attacks" already so... eh. sp-cartman.gif

They'll be baggin on Hillary though. That's gotta be pretty funny. A couple of seasons ago I may not have been too hyped about it, but they've hit their stride and aren't putting out much junk anymore.

NEW YORK, March 26, 2007 -- Cartman suspects the new Muslim student is behind a terrorist threat in an all-new "South Park" entitled, "The Snuke," premiering on Wednesday, March 28 at 10:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL.

The clock is ticking as the citizens prepare for Hillary Clinton's big campaign rally. Every minute counts as Cartman uses his own methods to interrogate the suspect. But could the plan to target Hillary Clinton be just the tip of the iceberg?

0ooooooooo, It sounds a little more funnier now with the bigger description smile.gif

I sense a minor media shitstorm brewing ('South Park' draws in Hillary's campaign) which isn't surprising since the media is obsessed with the presidential race and South Park can land devastating satirical blows when it wants to. What would tickle me the most though is if the message was totally random, something the morons on the cable news shows couldn't make sense of but still discussed with straight faces.

I also sense a two-parter. The "24" parody just screams "cliff hanger" and having one would finally cement the pattern of the midseason two-part episode.

sounds like a good episode, it'll be funny to see Cartman and a Muslim together

A snuke in her snizz, oh my!!!
I give this one the thumbs up. I chuckled alot and am planning to add apple juice injections to beef up my arsenal of stank. Instant classic.

Cartman as Jack Bauer was classic. Loved the parody of "24" even though they just scratched the surface. The Hillary bit essentially went nowhere and the ending felt forced, though. The British thing was a waste of time. I laughed a lot, enough to overlook the weaker points. Good episode.

The opening was pretty good. The rest.....uhhhhhh......not classic South Park. Not bad, but I guess they can't all be zingers!
Psycheout
That was a totally awesome episode, best in the series, loved the website references.

That was quite poor dry.gif I didn't laugh once and I only smiled in a couple of occasions. Like when the pig went on Hil-dogs ass-crack, and when Cartman took a pic of his balls in the middle of a serious moment. Other than that, I think that pretty much sucked.

Good, but could have been great. Started out hilarious, kinda trailed off at the end, especially the Hillary bit as CL mentioned. However, Cartman at the end made it a bit better; classic asshole.

Snuked!!!

That's awesome! Loved his boy's cameo at the end. biggrin.gif

Oh, the episode itself - good setup, dropped ball.

Snuked out - I was hoping that Making of would stay up longer than that.... I will see if that can come back....

Here's why he took it down. That's too bad.

Wow, emphasis on minor. The Hillary bit scored them this painful story on CNN. I don't recommend watching it, it'll just make you want to scratch out your eyeballs. As to why they bothered attempting to make this into a controversy with crap questions like "Why Hillary? Why not Obama? Will it make young viewers vote?", the next story is Wolf Blitzer reporting the latest polls on who's ahead in the presidential election that's nineteen months away. A lotta folks in the media must have a lotta time to fill.

Actually this ep is a much bigger story in the British media because of the Queen's suicide.

To me, this wasn't a controversial episode at all. Watching them trying to make it one is funny, but it's sad that some people take everything so seriously.

Unfortunately, I only laughed once--that was the 24 part where they're doing the split screen and Cartman's actually right NEXT to them. And, unfortunately, I've been whining and begging for southparkstudios to have behind the scenes stuff--they won't--and I've gotten to the point where I don't care anymore. And that's REALLY a shame. When folks don't care about their fans (no behind the scenes stuff, "commentaries" that are barely five minutes long, and "special compilations" that they're already done compentaries on the same episodes so they have "nothing much to say" for the season commentary like we saw in this past one that came out), well, I tend to not spend my thirty or forty dollars for a season's episodes because there's really nothing worth buying on them. That's too bad. I didn't used to feel that way.

Snitches and snoots is just cheap attempts at humor. I guess guys are more likely to double up in laughter over the mean mention (like the Oprah one or the one with the statue menstruating) I expect more. I hope we get more next week.

I can't believe the fuss being made about the queen. Its silly.
Psycheout
lol, it made the national news here, the fuss is pointless, it'll be very interesting to see if it ever gets aired over here.
