I just read this news story on the BBC about four young people, including a 16 year old, being convicted of the manslaughter of a barman in a random act of violence.

Considering I read this news story in the Guardian this morning it's not surprising but it's bloody depressing...

Maybe this is more widespread than my tiny little mind is aware.
