Full release is out now:
Mrs. Garrison vows to stop same-sex marriage in an all-new episode of South Park premiering Wednesday, November 2 at 10:00 P.M. on Comedy Central
Mrs. Garrison’s “ex” plans to marry his new love as soon as the Governor signs the bill allowing gay marriage in Colorado in an all new episode of "South Park," entitled "Follow That Egg!," premiering Wednesday, November 2 at 10:00 p.m. on Comedy Central. As Slave and Big Gay Al prepare to marry, the townspeople of South Park rally the Governor to outlaw gay marriage.
In a fit of jealously, Mrs. Garrison develops his own case study using the kids to prove that same sex couples cannot care for a child. The boys are determined to get an “A” on their class assignment and Mrs. Garrison is just as committed to seeing they fail.

I'm excited for Big Gay Al. Not excited in that sense, though. Has potential, should be good.

I think this episode sounds great.
I don't know why, but I have a strong feeling they are going to work into the story-line that Sulu from Star Trek is gay. Since he recently came out of the closet this would be perfect timing.

Brilliant episode. The egg-killing subplot was very well done, the "butt buddies" bit was great and plenty of little touches like "as a matter of fact, I think it's the nicest hat I've ever known" put this one over the top.

Everyone with me now: "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww..." Stan and Kyle. Awwwww. I knew Kyle was a good egg daddy! Just add that to the list of reasons why I want to marry him.
I'm going to watch it again before I do a full review. But my thoughts as of now -- several great moments, weak overall.

REVIEW (May contain peanuts... I mean spoilers)
This ep was pretty average for me. It was a nice break from what they've been doing lately (basically Cartman eps). The Stan and Kyle friendship was a good part, and overall I thought Mr. Garrison was pretty funny. They probably could've used Big Gay Al more, but oh well. I think they covered the gay marriage issue excellent, but not sure if it was hilarious. A few great parts though. Still a good ep, 8.5/10 (Average for me)

Given how Stan felt for Wendy and treated her in this episode, do any of you think Trey still has issues with Liane?

I thought of that too -- not Lianne specifically, but wanting to rekindle any "love lost long ago" ... but I certainly hope it's not an issue with him. He seemed to be mocking the whole idea more than anything.

Yes, I am, but I go to places where people have already seen the ep and have encoded it immediately after airing, so I download the ep long before it gets to the Pacific. And, I don't have cable to begin with.

Yeah, there could have been more same-sex couples there. But there aren't enough girls in class for all the guys to pair off with, so it's understandable if a few guys were missing this week.

I keep noticing how funny it is now to see the kids back in the classroom, sitting at their desks doing school projects, after all of the absurd things they've done and places they've been to in the past nine years. Kenny especially, because he's been to heaven and hell and now he's back sitting at a school desk in fourth grade painting an egg. Ah, beautiful irony.

The Egg storyline was great, because it was kind of the same thing you got with seasons 1/2/3/4. And there was the Gay Marrage storyline with current events fans like you guys.
If they make more episodes like this, hopefully there will be some impovement to this season. And guess what?!? Trey started this story early...

I’m going to have to agree with CL, I don’t think Wendy necessarily represents Liane, more likely another love. Besides Stan is jealous over Kyle being paired with her, Kyle was merely working together for a good grade, not trying to hit on her, Stan was still jealous. It’s just human nature. In the past I’ve felt jealousy toward women that were with an ex partner, even if I loathed the ex.

Personally I don’t need to come away from the show feeling like I laughed my ass off; I enjoy the emotional highs and lows of the writing. I’m not even sure why, but that hat line gave me a good laugh. The long lost love song left me feeling a little melancholy, but the overall show, exceptional all the same.
I rather enjoyed the return to the classroom.

Oh God, Mr. Slave will be the pounder now!
I watched this last night, when I saw the two of them together, I wondered which one was pounding which? Because they were both receivers, and SOMEONE has to be the quarterback to make a completion. You dig?
I have to be honest, this is the first episode Ive seen of the new run. But I made it up by watching it twice, and if someone could tell me where a good place to download the other 2 (?) then I will gladly and graciously rectalfy this sitch!

I agree with Misty--I don't need to laugh all the way through an episode to enjoy it--it's in the writing and story for me. I LOVED the "nicest hat I've ever known line"--you do tend to strike out in mean ways when you're fighting with someone you care about--getting that dig in just to hurt them whatever way you can---it doesn't have to be related to what you're arguing about. Kyle asking if Stan if he REALLY thought his hat was stupid after they made up was excellent--I felt like Kyle was ready to change his hat style if that was the case and he's been identified with that hat since he was a baby! Stan responding "in fact, it's the nicest hat I've ever known" acknowledges the close association between Kyle and his hat and is just the most heartfelt line the way it was written and delivered!
Ron--the other episodes are available in torrents--I assume you know how to download them. If not, message me!

Now that I think about it, he does sort of have a faint "Freddy Mercuryesque" act and feel to him, and I always figured the KILLER QUEEN gave as much pipe as he took!

Just got back in town and downloaded the episode.
I've gotta say that, right out of the gate, this was the best episode I've seen since at least season seven. All together, no stray ends, right to the point, etc. To me it's a practically perfect episode. The kiddywinks might not like it, but it really nails the whole gay marriage and relationship thing.
LOADS of classic lines!!!
The best was by the new Governor......like anyone cares about fuckin' dykes...
Second was Garrison....this scientific study isn't turning out the way I planned....
Even a musical number!

After thinking about it, I'm pretty sure the scene with the Assassin and Garrison was a Star Wars reference. The place was called ACKBAR, and they were sitting in a cantina-themed booth. And then Garrison says I'll pay you $x now and $x when the egg is dead.

I was thinking it reminded me of Star Wars as well. It also reminded me of The Sopranos--I can't quite put my finger on WHY though--which episode of the Sopranos it reminded me of.
