South Park - 'The Complete 15th Season' on DVD and Blu-ray Disc: Street Date, Box Art, Extras, More!

Go on down to South Park again with these late-March releases

All fourteen episodes from South Park's fifteenth season are available in this exclusive three- disc set. Join the boys as they take on revolutionary product development, start new business ventures, cope with the struggles of getting older and join the U.S. Border Patrol. For them, it's all part of growing up in South Park!

Comedy Central and distributor Paramount Home Entertainment have announced DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc releases for South Park - The Complete 15th Season, coming out in both formats on March 27th. Each 3-disc set (308 minutes) will include bonus material such as Deleted Scenes, Behind the Scenes of "City Sushi", and the Featurette "6 Days to Air: The Making of South Park". Both versions are listed as having widescreen video and English subtitles; the DVD includes English 2.0 Stereo sound while the Blu-ray release boasts of English 5.1 Dolby TrueHD and 5.1 Dolby Digital audio. Pricing hasn't been revealed, but going by the last two season sets the DVD version will be $49.99 SRP and the Blu-ray version will be $57.99 SRP. Here's the packaging for both formats:

Yay!! I usually find it around 30 bucks, the dvd version. One of the bigger places like Target, Best buy, Walmart, usually has it for like $29.99 ... Here's hoping they have it on sale!!!

Yays... Coming out soon! Do you think or know if there are going to be mini commentaries again? Gotta love those :)

I really have to start my project of collecting all the DVD sets soon. Maybe now that I've actually even got a job I could get on with it. Although... I'm not sure if all these are available in European Region 2 formats with all the extras the US releases have?

I don't really see the point in releasing South Park in Blu-ray. Seems a bit silly since the animation is what it is, which is the whole point and beauty of it. Apart from some occasional high-tech 3D scenes or effects and whatnot. But still, don't see the point of Blu-ray with South Park.

I only have up to season 11. Awhile back I saw older dvd's for like $15 so...
I need to catch up, but I can live with the wait. Not like I can't see them upon wishing it so.

I got some of mine at places like Movie Stop and other used dvd places. But lately I buy them within the week they're released.

So Zwerg, do the European versions always come with the commentaries too? I don't think it mentiones them in the boxes and I really want mine with commentaries.

I really enjoyed those, thanks again Will :) I know they don't particularly enjoy making them and sometimes they kind of sound pretty bored and unenthusiastic but these ones were actually pretty informative and interesting.

Especially the ones for You're Getting Old and Assburgers. It was good to hear their thoughts on them since I definitely saw them as being really self reflective. I can't believe they didn't realise it'd seem that way! But good to know what their thoughts were.

By the way, regarding the commentary for TMI, I can't believe that according to BMI Trey'd be obese! Wtf? How the hell does that add up :wacko: For me and my bf it says we're normal weight, which i think we are.
