I think it was funny how the importance of Internet as a source of information was left out almost completely.

You didn't see the news anchors struggling to put out some news because their Internet was gone too? Or Randy not being able to read WebMD to find out what he needs to do for a cough?

But watching TV kinda seemed to be just a way to spend time when they were bored due to not having internet.
I mean, not being able to tranfer information didn't seem to be as big of a problem as not being able to just waste your time online.

It's really a creepy thought of losing internet  I think funny how unimaginable it is, considering how short time it's been around.

Also, I can totally relate on Shelly :D I've had online friends (not a boyfriend, though) who I have got along great online and when we've met for real, we didn't have anything say to each other.

The Internet is the fastest way to get news and information right now, with news radio a close second, then television, then daily newspapers, and finally weeklies and magazines. Television is what we turn to when the Internet is down, since it's a visual medium like the Internet is (see Sharon watching CNN for weeks after 9/11)

'Course, we do spend much too much time on trivial things on the Net. :)

What I spend most of my time on, online, is social networking actually. I totally felt Randy's comment "We're all alone" :sp-cartmanlaugh: I'd feel alone too.

I watched this online :chodaboy:
I was expecting to see Shelly meeting up with maybe a 50 year old guy?
JUST FOR SHOCK.
But no.

Good stuff. Hits home in alot of ways to alot of people. I've pondered myself on the whole "shoving everything else off to the side while you lose yourself in this endless chinese fire drill of an imaginary world" thing.
I also liked the porn simulator. This was a good one, they keep churning them out. How many is that now?

I'm thinking the official count is either 173 or 174.

Anyways, last night I dreamed that you and your friends (who I guess were just made-up girls) were BBQing me in your back yard in the summer. And it was like a 'Cannibal-Bikini-Blowout.' And the cooking device was a giant grill that I was shackled to, but my head hung off the edge, and you and your friends would rub your asses/pussies in my face to muffle my screams, and giggle madly and joyously.

Grapes of Wrath much? Nice B&W homage piece in the middle. Also the piss-take on Close Encounters was well done.

The Porn Simulator Tent was hilarious! Such a pity Randy didn't consider having actual real sex with Sharon...!

Nice comment on modern human interaction.
