THE BOYS ARE BEING HELD HOSTAGE
IN AN ALL-NEW "SOUTH PARK" ON
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23 AT 10:00 P.M. ON COMEDY CENTRAL‚

NEW YORK, April 21, 2008 – A class field trip to the living museum takes a
deadly turn in an all-new episode of "South Park," entitled "Super Fun
Time," premiering on Wednesday, April 23 at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on COMEDY
CENTRAL.

Mr. Garrison takes the fourth grade class on an educational field trip to a
Pioneer Village where dedicated workers remain in character as their
counterparts from the 1800's . Cartman forces Butters to ditch the fanatical
townsfolk to go to the amusement center located next door. While the rest of
kids are reluctantly learning about the good old days in Colorado, a group
of trigger-happy thieves break into the museum and take everyone hostage.

Anything Cartman/Butters themed is automatic gold.

Anyways, last night I dreamed that you and your friends (who I guess were just made-up girls) were BBQing me in your back yard in the summer. And it was like a 'Cannibal-Bikini-Blowout.' And the cooking device was a giant grill that I was shackled to, but my head hung off the edge, and you and your friends would rub your asses/pussies in my face to muffle my screams, and giggle madly and joyously.

I like it how the set up sounds so super basic and normal. I mean the field trip and sneaking out to an amusement park... not the hostage-part...

Yes, that's what it is. You're sometimes asked to find a partner so that if one of you gets lost or in some sort of trouble, the other one can get help. The buddy system.

I searched for a thread for 'Production Blogs' from South Park (I'm nearly sure there was one) and couldn't find it through a manual clicking through lots of stuff search and using the search box here.

So I'm putting this in this ep's thread.

I don't read an eps thread as a rule before I've seen the ep so this has nothing to do with this week's ep - soorrrree.

One of the PA's at SPS, PA Rob, announced that he is leaving SPS and would be drinking at a certain bar/pub near/in/around Culver City (where SPS is located) this morning after 6am - when the production wraps. He invited anyone who knew or could find the bar to join them.

Link and extract below.

At 6am today (4/23/08 ) our local bar opens. Myself and soon-to-be Assistant HD Editor Nate are going to celebrate after our overnight here at The Park. If you can find us (we will be the only bar in Culver City that opens at 6am), you can buy us drinks as we tell you stories about South Park.

Did anyone in LA bother or have the courage to do that??!!

Very probably not. :(

Anyhoo, my guess aboot the bar, having input the not so super secret words of 'bars open 6am culver city ca' into lovely Google revealed that it may have been the Tattle Tale Room that they were a-visiting and enjoying this morning. I hope they did and had a really cool time there. Good luck to the departing PA!

Also, if you to bother to scroll down and read the comments, Keith (EIEIO) posts that Jun (Junichi Nishimura) is also leaving SPS. They're planning on partying in Las Vegas this weekend if ya want to try and find 'em - and join 'em!

I just fell in love with Butters all over again.

Did you not see Butters kick his feet so innocently thinking Cartman would WANT to be his buddy? :sp-cartmanlaugh:
I think I'm over the whole slashing of South Park, I've grown out of it...trust me...
The sharing of the milkshake...the holding hands...the cuteness and sweetness of it all despite how much they hated each other.
I can see why some perverted teenage girl (they tend to be the ones who are nuts over the Gay pairings) would fawn over Butters/Cartman.

As for posting more anime pics...hmm...:P

I'm a night owl - I go to sleep at 4, 5 in the morn and don't get up until 10, 11 a.m., so I missed it, natch.

I totally dug it, so many funny bits. And loved the "Die Hard bad guys." Seen better, seen worse; but yeah, Cartman and Butters made the ep.

At least it falls into the category of "The List" and "Tsst" (good "finales") rather than "Stanley's Cup."

HEY! Stanley's Cup kicked ass. To end the season with a little innocent kid dying of cancer, you can't go wrong there.

This was a damned funny episode though. I thought this half-season was a blast.
