Thank the (insert deity of choice here) for George W Bush. His true comic talent has yet to be fully realised. Go to the site to see the video.

Door thwarts quick exit for Bush

President George W Bush tried to make a quick exit from a news conference in Beijing on Sunday - only to find himself thwarted by locked doors.

After answering just six questions from a group of US reporters, the president strode away heading towards the door.

President Bush tugged at both handles on the double doors before admitting: "I was trying to escape. Obviously, it didn't work."

Mr Bush was in China in the latest stop of his East Asia tour.

The president had called the news session with US reporters at his hotel.

His earlier meeting with Chinese President Hu Jintao did not permit media questions.

Mr Bush answered a range of questions before one reporter said: "Respectfully, sir - you know we're always respectful - in your statement this morning with President Hu, you seemed a little off your game, you seemed to hurry through your statement. There was a lack of enthusiasm. Was something bothering you?"

The president answered: "Have you ever heard of jet lag? Well, good. That answers your question."

The reporter asked for a follow-up question but the president then thanked the attending journalists and said "No you may not" as he walked away.

He strode from the lectern to the door, trying both handles and then breaking into a laugh.

An aide escorted him to the correct exit and on to dinner at the Great Hall of the People.

In other news....

This woman tried to open the door of a plane while it was in flight so she could pop out for a fag (ciggie), possibly on the wing. The bleedin French, eh?

Smoker tried to open plane door

A French woman has admitted attempting to open an airplane door mid-flight so that she could smoke a cigarette.

Sandrine Helene Sellies, 34, who has a fear of flying, had drunk alcohol and taken sleeping tablets ahead of the flight from Hong Kong to Brisbane.

She was seen on the Cathay Pacific plane walking towards a door with an unlit cigarette and a lighter.

She then began tampering with the emergency exit until she was stopped by a flight attendant.

Defence lawyer Helen Shilton said her client had no memory of what had happened on the flight on Saturday, and that she had a history of sleepwalking.

She pleaded guilty to endangering the safety of an aircraft at Brisbane Magistrates Court and was given a 12-month A$1,000 (£429) good behaviour bond - she will forfeit the money if she commits another offence.

The French tourist was at the start of a three-week Australian vacation with her husband.

The plane story brings back such fond memories, just sub in Xanax for the sleeping pills and tampering with the door with instead tampering with a stewardess's ass! And I sure as hell aint French either! I am, however, deathly afraid of flying, and for good reason. They should administer a drug to put everyone out anyway on the plane (except the pilots of course!), save money on shakin everybody down in the terminal, if they are all comatose, whos gonna hijack da plane, boss?
